MagnoliaS Munchener Apfel Pfannekuchen
- Apple Glaze:
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) cold butter
- Batter:
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk (whole milk is preferred)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Garnish:
- Powdered sugar
- Whipped Cream
- Preheat the oven to 375u0b0F. Place the apple slices in an oven-proof 10-inch nonstick saute pan. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over top. Saute over medium low heat until apples are slightly soft, about 3 to 5 minutes.
