Rocky Road Brownies
- 6 oz semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. butter (or margarine)
- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1.) Heat 1/2 c. of the CHOCOLATE CHIPS and the BUTTER over low heat until melted; cool.
- 2.) Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- 3.) Mix FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, VANILLA, SALT, EGGS, and CHOCOLATE mixture.
- 4.) Spread in ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches.
- 5.) Bake 15 minutes.
- 6.) Sprinkle with MARSHMALLOWS, NUTS, and remaining CHOCOLATE CHIPS.
- 7.) Bake until marshmallows are golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 15-20 minutes.
- 8.) Allow to cool completely; cut into 2x1 inch bars.
