Calico Beans
- 1 pkg pepper bacon
- Hot Italian Sausage
- 1# ground beef
- Cook above separately and set aside
- Large onion dice
- garlic diced
- Drain grease and saute onion and garlic
- 2 large cans each (28 oz) w/ Juice
- Kidney beans
- Pork and beans
- Butter beans
- Stir in
- 1 C ketchup
- 1/2 C yellow mustard
- 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1/4 rooster sauce
- Heat to boiling then simmer or bake @ 170 for a couple of hours

- I like to bring to a boil on the stove top for food safety reasons and then put in the oven for as long as possible, usually overnight.
- Remember to check your oven in the morning, mine turns off automatically at mid-night or after a relatively long time.
