Karen'S Green Pepper Steak

  1. 1. Heat tallow (or oil) in a heavy skillet.
  2. 2. Add meat, salt, pepper, onion, and garlic - cook over moderately high heat, stirring constantly, until meat has browned.
  3. 3. Add bouillon and green peppers - cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Add tomatoes and cook one minute longer.
  5. 5. Blend together cornstarch, soy sauce and water - add to skillet and cook 3-4 minutes longer, stirring constantly until mixture is hot and sauce has thickened.
  6. 6. Serve at once over hot rice.
