Garlic Chicken And Red Potatoes

  1. Cut the chicken into desired size cubes.
  2. Wash and cut potatoes into bite size cubes.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and bread the chicken.
  4. Brown the chicken in oil in a frying pan to sear the breading to the meat.
  5. Cut bacon into small pieces and cook in the Dutch Oven.
  6. Remove the bacon, leaving the grease in the oven to help prevent sticking.
  7. Place the chicken in the Dutch Oven with 9 cloves of Garlic.
  8. Place the potatoes on top of the chicken in an even layer.
  9. Melt the cube of butter and crush 3 cloves of garlic into it.
  10. Pour the butter/garlic over the potatoes.
  11. Put the bacon over the potatoes.
  12. Cook at 300 - 325 degrees for approx 45 minutes or until the potatoes are fork tender.
