New England Apple Cake

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In large bowl, cream together margarine and both sugars.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until well blended.
  4. In medium bowl, combine next 5 ingredients.
  5. Add to creamed mixture; stir to combine thoroughly.
  6. Stir in apples and walnuts.
  7. Spoon into greased 10-inch Bundt or tube pan.
  8. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out almost clean. (Because of the apples, the toothpick will be moist.)
  9. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes; turn out onto serving dish.
  10. When completely cooled, dust with confectioners sugar.
  11. Serves 16.
  12. Refrigerate leftovers.
