Low-Salt & Low-Fat Turkey Chilli
- 1 Jar Low-Salted Salsa (Organic Southwestern Style Prefered for thickness and texture,but can use other market brand)
- 2 Cup Water (less or more depend on the thickness you desire)
- 1 Can Low-Salted Black Bean
- 1 Pre Packaged Six-Gun Chilli Mix (do not use the flour mixture that comes in this container to reduce fat)
- 1.25 LB Pre Packaged Jenny O' Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 1 package shreded Low-Fat Mexican Cheese(your preference of cheese)
- 1. Cooked turkey on frying pan with olive oil and drain any fluid when done cooking.
- 2. Put the lean ground turkey in to the crock pot (or stewing pot to reduce cooking time)and add all salsa, water,black bean, Six-Gun Chilli Mix (do not add flour package).
- 3. Boil on High for about 30 minutes for crockpot (5 minutes for stewing pot) and reduce heat to slow cooking (30 minutes for crockpot or 10-15 minutes for the stewing pot).
- 4. When finished and ready to eat the chilli, top chilli with a little bit of low-fat shreded cheese for taste(or more if you are not on a diet).
