Mom'S Labor Of Love Lasanga Part 1
- The Bechamel Sauce
- 2 Cups Whole Milk, I use 0%
- 4 T. (1/2 Stick Butter)
- 3 T. Flour
- 1/4 t. Salt
- Lasanga Noodles (No Bake is fine)
- Parmesian Cheese
- For the Sauce:
- Place milk in saucepan, turn heat to medium low, and bring milk just to the verge of boiling.
- While heating the milk, place butter in a heavy bottomed saucepan,heating to low. When butter as melted, add all of the flour,stirring with a wooden spoon, Cook while stirring constantly for about 2 minutes, avoiding any lumps and don't let the mixture color. Remove from heat.
- Add milk to the sauce pan no more than 3 T. at a time,stirring constantly making sure that it has been incorporated into the mixture, repeat until there is nothing left.
- Place over low heat, add salt and cook stirring until the sauce is like a thick cream. Make sure there are NO lumps.
