Barbecued Franks

  1. Saute onion, green pepper and celery in butter in a Dutch oven until tender.
  2. Add catsup, water, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and mustard.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add frankfurters; simmer an additional 5 minutes, or until franks are thoroughly heated. To serve, place in buns and spoon sauce on top.
  5. Yields 8 servings.
