Fresh Strawberry Trifle

  1. Put 1 3/4 cups milk and egg in a medium saucepan.
  2. Beat with a wire whisk 1 to 2 minutes or until foamy.
  3. Combine remaining 1/4 cup milk with cornstarch and stir until smooth.
  4. Add honey and cornstarch mixture to saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in flavorings, cover and chill.
  6. Sprinkle cut side of ladyfingers with liqueur.
