The Dish
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 large onions
- 1 green pepper
- 1 (No. 2) can white cream-style corn
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 large can ripe olives and juice
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- 1 (5 oz.) pkg. noodles
- Saute ground beef.
- Cut up onions and green pepper and put in pan with a little water and steam.
- Drain off water.
- Place all ingredients in a large pot except noodles and enough cheese to put on top of casserole.
- Cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the cheese is melted.
- Cook noodles and add to sauce.
- Place in casserole and top with remaining cheese.
- Cook about 45 minutes in a 350u0b0 oven.
- Serves 6.
- Casserole may be frozen, but do not cook in oven until ready to serve.
