Fudge Bonbons
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 2 c.)
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- 2 c. all-purpose or unbleached flour, lightly spooned and leveled off
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 60 chocolate or white and chocolate striped candy kisses
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips and butter or margarine.
- Cook and stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
- Add milk; mix well.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, nuts, chocolate mixture and vanilla; mix well.
- Shape 1 tablespoonful, using measuring spoon, of dough around candy kisses.
- Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Cookies will be soft and appear shiny, but will become firm as they cool.
- Do not overbake. Remove from cookie sheets; cool and drizzle with icing.
