Fudge Bonbons

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips and butter or margarine.
  3. Cook and stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
  4. Add milk; mix well.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine flour, nuts, chocolate mixture and vanilla; mix well.
  6. Shape 1 tablespoonful, using measuring spoon, of dough around candy kisses.
  7. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
  9. Cookies will be soft and appear shiny, but will become firm as they cool.
  10. Do not overbake. Remove from cookie sheets; cool and drizzle with icing.
