Japanese Stir Fry

  1. Cook rice as per package directions. When done, drain and set aside.
  2. While rice is boiling as per package directions, heat 1 T. of olive oil in a large skillet.
  3. Cube steak into 1 - 2 in. pieces. Add to skillet and cook to desired doneness (3-5 min). Remove from skillet, and place in bowl.
  4. If needed, add additional oil to skillet. Add onions, peppers, other vegetables, and sesame seeds. Saute until tender.
  5. Add cooked rice to skillet. Stir to combine ingredients. Add egg - ensuring that it makes contact with the hot skillet - scrambling to cook and combine. Continue stirring until egg is cooked through (1-2 min).
  6. Add steak back to mixture and stir until heated (about 2 min).
