Jamaican Jerk Chili
- 1 large red onion, diced
- 1/2 med white onion, diced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 3/4 lb hot Italian sausage
- 1 lb chicken legs
- 3/4 cup of Jamaica Jerk Marinade
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can diced tomatoes (1lb 12oz)
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1 can small red kidney beans, drained (15oz)
- 1 can small black beans, drained (15oz)
- Fresh cilantro
- Brown Italian sausage in large pot. Brown chicken and set aside. Sautee onions and peppers until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 2-3 hours. Stir in chopped cilantro before serving
