Grapenut Pudding With Lemon Saude

  1. Bring milk and grapenuts to a boil
  2. Remove from heat and bring to room temperature
  3. Stir in 2 egg yolks and 4 tbsp sugar
  4. Add salt and vanilla. Stir to blend
  5. Fold in egg whites
  6. Pour in buttered baking dish and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes
  7. Lemon sauce: In a saucepan blend the butter, sugar and flour
  8. Gradually add the boiling water, boil for 3 mintes
  9. Whisk as cooking until suitable thickness
  10. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice
  11. Pour some sauce over top of pudding and/or retain for serving individual portions
