Blueberry French Toast

  1. Slice bread diagonally 3/4-inch thick.
  2. Place in 10 x 15-inch pan.
  3. In bowl, beat eggs and milk plus baking powder and vanilla. Pour slowly over bread, turning to coat.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and put in refrigerator overnight.
  5. In morning, place 4 cups frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
  6. Place bread, wet side up, on berries. Wedge slices together.
  7. Brush top of bread with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  8. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  9. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toast is golden brown and berries are bubbling around the sides.
  10. Remove from oven and sift powdered sugar on top.
  11. Let stand 5 minutes.
