Easy Chili
- 2.5 pounds ground beef
- 1.5 large onions, chopped
- 2 green bell peppers, chopped
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes w/green chili
- 1 can diced tomatoes w/onion
- 1 can mexican style stewed tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 large can Hunts chili beans
- 2 cans Bush chili beans
- 2 large cans dark red kidney beans, drained
- Cook first 3 ingredients in a large pot until meat is browned, cumbling meat as it cooks. Drain off excess fat.
- Add remaining ingredients, stirring well.
- Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 2 hours.
