Italian Long Green Beans & Pasta, Rosemarie P.
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans of Contadina(R) Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz) can of Contadina(R) Tomato Sauce
- 1 lb of long Italian green beans
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb of linguine
- 1.temove ends of green beans and wash. Cut into threes.
- 2.take cans of stewed tomatoes and break up into chunks.
- 3.tice garlic fine.
- 4.taute garlic in olive oil. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste.
- 5.tfter mixture comes to a boil, add long green beans. Cook until tender (about 15-20 minutes).
- 6.tn the meantime bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook to taste.
- 7.train pasta and add some liquid into the pasta and plate pasta and put long green beans and sauce over pasta.
