Fat Free White Chocolate Berry Angle Trifle
- 2 store bought prepared angle food cakes,
- 2 packages instant fat free white chocolate pudding,
- 2 large containers fresh strawberries or raspberries,
- 1 large container of fat free whipped topping,
- sugar or sugar Substitute,
- Gran Marnier or other orange flavored liquor (optional),
- Light orange juice (optional), and
- Milk
- Step 1: Prepare the pudding according to package directions.
- Step 2: Slice the strawberries or use whole raspberries. Marinate berries with sugar, orange liqour or orange juice. Chill in fridge until ready to use.
- Both Step 1 and 2 can be done a day ahead.
- In Trifle bowl or other large glass bowl layer ingredients to the top. It is alright if the final layer is higher than the edge of the bowl.
- Next:
- 1) tear pieces of angle food cake and place in bowl;
- 2) spoon in layer of marinted berries;
- 3) spoon in layer of white chocolate pudding; and,
- 4) spoon in layer of whipped topping.
- Repeat 1-4 until the top of bowl is reached.
- Each layer should be about an inch thick.
- The final layer should be the whipped topping.
- Chill before serving.
