Worcestershire Cream Cheese Spread
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
- 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Mix cream cheese and garlic together with a fork and shape into a 6 inch flat ball on a plate. Use plastic wrap when shaping and putting on plate so it doesn't stick on your hands. Place in refrigerator while preparing the topping (below).
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine all topping ingredients and mix together. As butter melts, stir frequently until everything is well combined.
- Pour topping mix over cream cheese, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for at least an hour.
- Remove from refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving.
