Almond Fudge Brownies
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 5 oz bittersweet (at least 70%) baking chocolate
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coca powder, sifted
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 oz almond butter, raw, crunchy and unsalted
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- Combine coconut oil, chocolate, and syrup and melt in microwave
- Sift in coca powder, stir to evenly combine. Then allow to cool completly and set aside.
- Prehead oven to 350.
- Blend eggs, salt, baking soda and vanilla in a med. size bowl.
- Once smoothly blended, add almond butter and continue to blend.
- Slowly add melted chocolate, continue to blend.
- Add in coconut flour and blend until mixture is evenly combined.
- Pour batter into greased 13 x 9 glass baking dish.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
- Do not over bake, they will get crumbly. These are very cakelike.
- Place in fridge to cool, makes it easier to cut.
