Ahi Tuna With Avacado Blueberry Salsa

  1. Make Salsa:
  2. Coarsely chop the avocado, tomato, and onion, toss into a large mixing bowl. Add the garlic, capers, blueberries, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Lightly stir, making sure not to smash the avocado.
  3. Sear Tuna Steaks:
  4. Salt and Pepper the tuna to taste. Pre heat grill to 450 degrees, or large skillet on medium high heat with about a 1/2 a tablespoon of olive oil. Sear the tuna steaks on both sides for 3-4 minutes a side for rare temperature.
  5. Top with salsa.
