Garfield Lasagne
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned pepper
- 1 large (1 lb. 12 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles
- 1/2 lb. small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pkg. any spaghetti sauce mix
- Brown meat; drain fat.
- Add salt, garlic and pepper.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce.
- Mix thoroughly and simmer 30 minutes.
- Boil noodles until almost tender.
- Rinse.
- Pour 1/4 meat sauce into casserole dish.
- Top with noodles, then Mozzarella.
- In separate bowl, mix cottage cheese and Ricotta together.
- Put 1/3 mixture in casserole next. Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
- Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Let stand before cutting.
- If refrigerated, bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
