Kids Lov'Em & Mom'S Ador'Em Sunday Morning Pancakes
- Organic Kamut, Spelt, Quinoa, or other flour. Organic whole grain oat flour. Banana. Baking powder (non Aluminum). Baking Soda. Cinnamon.
- ** To make things easier, you can buy a high quality pre-mix like Arrowhead Mills Organic Pancake & Waffle Mix **
- 1 C flour
- 1 Banana
- 2 organic Egg White
- 1/8 (t) Cinnamon
- 1/4 (t) Baking Soda
- 1/8 (t) Baking Powder
- 1 (T) Olive Oil
- 3/4 C organic Soy or Almond milk
- Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl (you can smash or slice the banana -- a ripe banana adds the sweetness and richness to the mix). Then add the fun stuff and cook. If you use the pre-mixed Pancake batter, get the healthy version, follow the directions but add the egg white = better pancakes and a bit of quality protein for the kids.
