Dig Deep Chocolate Dessert
- 1 package devils food chocolate cake mix
- 1 3 oz box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 3oz box instant chocolate pudding
- 3 cups milk
- 1 10 oz container whipped topping
- 1 qt fresh strawberries
- Have ready a 2 1/2 glass bowl.
- Mix cake according to package directions. Pour mixture into a greased and sugared 9x13 pan. Bake and cool. Make vanilla pudding according to directions, using only1 1/2 cups milk and adding 2 tablespoons liquor to taste. Chill. Make chocolate pudding according to directions, using only 1 1/2 cups milk.
- fold 1/3 carton whipped topping into vanilla pudding. Fold 1/3 carton whipped topping into chocolate pudding.
- Wash strawberries and remove stems. Set aside 7 berries and slice the remainder in half.
- Break cake into chunks and generously cover the bottom half of the glass bowl with the cake. Dribble liquor over cake. Level with the top of the cake pieces, place strawberries up against the bowl all the way around, leaving space between each strawberry half. Pour vanilla pudding mixture on top of cake. Cover the pudding mixture with chunks of chocolate cake. Dribble liquor over cake. Level with this layer, place more strawberries against the inside of bowl. Pour chocolate pudding mixture on top of cake. If there is room sprinkle more cake chunks on top of pudding. Dribble with liquor
