Chocolate Chip Banana Cake

• 1/2 c. butter or margarine
• 1 2/3 c. sugar (granulated)
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 3/4 tsp. baking soda
• 3 soft bananas
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 4 generous Tbsp. sour cream
• 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour (sift first, then measure)
• 1 c. chocolate chips
• 1 c. prepared chocolate icing (store bought in the plastic tub)

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs, salt and sour cream.
3. Add bananas and vanilla.
4. Mix well.
5. Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder.
6. Add to butter mixture and mix until well combined. Add chocolate chips.
7. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
9. Remove from pan and cool completely.
