Barbecue Sauce Meat Balls
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 3/4 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. ground sage
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 lb. lean ground round
- 3/4 c. bottled barbecue sauce
- 1/3 c. orange marmalade
- 1/3 c. water
- For meat balls, combine egg and milk.
- Beat well.
- Stir in bread crumbs, onion, salt, sage, garlic powder and meat.
- Mix well and shape into 1-inch balls.
- Place in shallow pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
- Combine barbecue sauce, orange marmalade and water.
- Stir in drained meat balls after they have been baked.
- I use the plain thick original barbecue sauce. Pepper to taste.
- These can be frozen also.
