Fay'S Coq Au Vin

  1. Brown chicken in oil oil in frying pan. Remove
  2. Add onions, carrots, garlic and brown, followed by mushrooms to brown.
  3. Add flour and mix in. Then add wine and seasonings. Mix and bring to boil.
  4. Add chicken and cover with sauce.
  5. Either simmer in pan for approximately 1 hour, or transfer to oven at 350 F.
  6. While chicken is cooking prepare rice.
