Cranberry Orange Scones

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. 2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, peel, baking powder, salt. Cut in butter and add cranberries. Mixture should resemble a course meal.
  3. 3. In a seperate large bowl, whisk yogurt, orange juice, and egg.
  4. 4. Gradually add flour mixture to the liquids and knead until smooth.
  5. 5. Pat dough into a 8-inch round and cut into 8 equal wedges. Transfer to a nostick baking sheet, spacing apart the dough.
  6. 6. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
