Classic French Toast

  1. In a wide bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. One at a time, soak the Bread slices into the mixture (15 seconds per side), and put the bread aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter in it. Put the toasts in the skillet and cook each side for 3-4 minutes (or until they are light brown/golden in color)
  3. Take out the toasts, serve with more syrup on top, fresh cream or fresh fruit.
