Meat Loaf With A Tomato-Sweet Pea Sauce
- 1 Lb Ground Beef, Lean
- 1 Cups Onion, Chopped (1 Medium)
- 1 Egg
- 1 Cup Bread Crumbs, Seasoned
- 1/8 Teaspoon Kosher Salt, To Taste
- 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper, To Taste
- 16 Ounces Tomato Sauce
- 2 Cups Green Sweet Peas, ( 14 1/2 Oz Can)
- 1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- a. In a large bowl, add ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper.
- b. Wet hands with water and mix ingredients in bowl to combine well.
- 2. Turn meat mixture out of bowl into a baking pan and form into a loaf.
- a. Place in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
- b. Pour Tomato Sauce over meat loaf and return to oven for 10 minutes.
- c. Pour drained peas over top of meat loaf; return to oven for 5 minutes longer or until meat is cooked through.
