Secret Kiss Cookies

  1. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  2. Add flour and nuts; beat on low speed of mixer until well blended.
  3. Cover, refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until firm enough to handle.
  4. Remove wrappers from candy.
  5. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  6. Use 1 tablespoon dough for each cookie, shape dough around candy; roll to make ball.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until cookies are set but not brown.
  9. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
  10. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Store in tightly covered container.
  13. Roll again in powdered sugar just before serving.
  14. Yields 3 dozen cookies.
