Double Toffee Delight Cake
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 pkg. dry instant vanilla pudding
- 1 pkg. dry instant butterscotch pudding
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- Combine first 3 ingredients and set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients in large mixer bowl and beat 2 minutes.
- Pour 1/3 batter in greased 13 x 9-inch pan; sprinkle with 1/3 brown sugar mixture.
- Pour remaining batter over this and top with remaining brown sugar mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 minutes.
- Can be layered in 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan and baked 20 to 25 minutes for bar cookies.
- Delicious served warm as coffee cake.
