Salmon With Avocado And Mango Salsa

  1. For mango salsa:
  2. 1 mango, peeled and finely diced
  3. 1/4 cup minced red onion
  4. 2 Tbsp chopped cilantro or mint
  5. Zest of 1 lime
  6. 1 Tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
  7. Salt, pepper, and hot sauce to taste
  8. For salmon:
  9. 2 Lb salmon steaks (or 4 salmon fillets with skin, 6-8 oz each)
  10. Salt and pepper
  11. 2 tsp olive or canola oil, plus more for brushing the grill
  12. 1/4 cup duck sauce (or sweet and sour sauce)
  13. 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (or Japanese soy sauce)
  14. 1 inch ginger root, peeled and finely grated
  15. 1 tsp sesame seed oil
  16. For avocados:
  17. 2 avocados, halved lengthwise and pitted (don't peel)
  18. 2 tsp lime juice
  19. 2 tsp olive or canola oil
  20. Salt and pepper
