Best Barbecue Sauce

  1. Mix all of the above ingredients in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Cover; reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
  4. (If not using immediately, cool somewhat, transfer to a container with cover and refrigerate.)
  5. Use as a barbecue sauce for chicken or ribs.
  6. Makes about 1 quart.
