Monica'S Roll Kuchen For Watermelon Days

  1. Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Make a well in the middle of the flour
  3. Mix all wet ingredients and pour into hole of flour, Mix gently with fingers.
  4. Role out and cut into long strips with a slit in the middle lengthwise, turn the one end inside the slit to make a bowtie. Put into hot oil until lightly brown, turnn for a few more seconds to brown both sides. Serve immediately with cold watermelon and a small bowl of corn syrup for drizzling or dipping.
