Monica'S Roll Kuchen For Watermelon Days
- 1/2 cup Mayonaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 4 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1" oil in cast iron pan for frying
- watermelon, sliced
- corn syrup to dip Roll Kuchen into
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
- Make a well in the middle of the flour
- Mix all wet ingredients and pour into hole of flour, Mix gently with fingers.
- Role out and cut into long strips with a slit in the middle lengthwise, turn the one end inside the slit to make a bowtie. Put into hot oil until lightly brown, turnn for a few more seconds to brown both sides. Serve immediately with cold watermelon and a small bowl of corn syrup for drizzling or dipping.
