Bbq Pork Ribs

  1. Start by removing any unwanted fat off the ribs. Remove the silver skin and score twice on the backside of the the ribs.
  2. Place them in a roasting pan with approximately 2 inches of water mixed with the liquid smoke.
  3. Seal the pan with plastic wrap (don't worry it won't melt) and then again with tin foil, making sure there is an air tight seal. (very important).
  4. Place in oven @ 400F for 3 to 4 hrs.
  5. When you've reached 3hrs, remove, stick a fork in between two ribs and twist, if they flake like tuna, it's ready!!
  6. If not, place into oven again for another hour.
  7. For Sauce:
  8. Place all the of the sauce ingredients together in one pot, simmer for up to 3 hrs. If it becomes too thick just add some water, 1/4 cp at a time. puree when all the onion has cooked through. It's ready, keep it warm until you grill.
  9. When ribs are ready, remove, place at room temp or colder.
  10. When they have cooled it's time for the BBQ!! Place meat side up onto the grill at high heat until you see sizzling coming from the bones, flip, brush sauce to the the heated side, 1 min later flip, add sauce, flip again if you like it saucey. Serve!!
