Italian Sausage Calzones
- 1/2 lb Italian Sausage
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (8 oz) pizza sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh snipped parsley
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 package (10 oz each) refrigerated pizza crust (2 crusts)
- 1 oz fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
- additional pizza sauce (optional)
- Preheat oven 375
- In small bowl combine sausage, mozzazarella cheese, pizza sauce, parsley, and pressed garlic. Mix well.
- Unroll pizza crusts, place side by side on cutting board. Using a pizza cutter, cuteach into 6 squares (total of 12). Divide filling evenly into centers of the squares with medium scoop.
- Gather four corners of each square up over filling and teist to seal. Place calzones, seam side up, on a stone Muffin Pan. Sprinkle with grated Parmasean Cheese.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan, serve with additional sauce if desired.
