Mandrake Seedlings
- Peanut Butter Clay
- 1 lb jar (2 cups) all natural "old-fashioned" peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- Fresh celery stalk tops with leaves intact, soaked in cold water for a few hours
- Chocolate candy rocks
- Chocolate cookie crumbs for "dirt"
- To assemble:
- Drain the oil from the top of the jar of peanut butter. Mix all ingredients well with a spoon. Mixture will be crumbly until kneading with your hands. Refrigerate until ready to shape. Bring to room temperature and knead again. Once smooth in texture, mold into desired shape of a crying baby. Insert a drinking straw carefully into the top of the head down into the body. Remove the straw, pat dry a celery leaf stalk, then insert the celery into the hole using fresh peanut butter as glue, with the leaves coming out the top. Put small candy rocks in the bottom of a small clear plastic glass, add chocolate cookie crumb "dirt" halfway, tilting the glass so the dirt is along the side, insert the baby mandrake, then fill with more dirt crumbs.
