Tangy, Tasty Meatloaf
- 1 lb High quality ground
- beef or sirloin
- 1 cup Fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 med onion finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 8-oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 TBSP Wine Vinegar
- 3 TBSP Brown Sugar
- 2 TBSP Dry Mustard
- 2 TBSP Worchestershire Sauce
- 2 TBSP Lemon Juice
- Mix together ground beef, fresh bread crumbs, onion, beaten egg, salt, pepper & 1/2 can of tomato sauce. Blend thoroughly and shape into a loaf. Place loaf in an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 shallow baking pan. Combine the remaining ingredients in a medium mixing sized bowl and blend well with a whisk. Pour over meatloaf and bake at 350-degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes, basting with the pan drippings every 30 minutes.
