Baklava

  1. Butter bottom of 8-inch square pan.
  2. Lay 10 sheets of phyllo in pan, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  3. Mix nuts with sugar and spices, sprinkle 1/2 over phyllo.
  4. Drizzle with melted butter. Lay on another 10 sheets of phyllo, brushing each with butter. Sprinkle with other half of nut mixture, add remaining phyllo, cut without cutting through bottom layer in diamond-shaped pieces. Bake in preheated oven (350u0b0) for 1 hour.
  5. Finish cutting.
  6. Allow to cool.
  7. Pour warm Lemon Honey Syrup over.
  8. Makes about 20.
