Strawberry Trifle

  1. Strawberry Base
  2. Mix together sugar, corn starch and Jell-O. Add the water and heat until mixture thickens. Cool. When cool, fold in 2 cups sliced and sugared strawberries.
  3. Custard Base
  4. Beat the cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. Fold in the cool whip.
  5. Assemble:
  6. In a large clear bowl.
  7. Bottom layer: one half of the angel food cake.
  8. Layer 2: one half strawberry Jell-O mixture
  9. Layer 3: All of custard
  10. Layer 4: Rest of cake
  11. Layer 5: Rest of strawberries.
  12. Garnish with one - half cup strawberries and 3 tablespoons dream whip
