Strawberry Trifle
- Strawberry Base
- 1 cup sugart tbs corn starch
- 3 tbs strawberry Jell-Ot cup water
- 2 cups sliced and sugared strawberries
- Custard Base
- 1 pkg cream cream cheeset can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 12 oz container cool whip.
- One purchased angel food cake. Torn into pieces. One-half cup sliced and sugared strawberries
- 3 tablespoons cool whip.
- Strawberry Base
- Mix together sugar, corn starch and Jell-O. Add the water and heat until mixture thickens. Cool. When cool, fold in 2 cups sliced and sugared strawberries.
- Custard Base
- Beat the cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth. Fold in the cool whip.
- Assemble:
- In a large clear bowl.
- Bottom layer: one half of the angel food cake.
- Layer 2: one half strawberry Jell-O mixture
- Layer 3: All of custard
- Layer 4: Rest of cake
- Layer 5: Rest of strawberries.
- Garnish with one - half cup strawberries and 3 tablespoons dream whip
