Pork Vegetable Stir-Fry(For 1)
- 3 oz. lean pork, cut 1/8 x 1-inch
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, cut 1/2 x 1/2-inch
- 1/2 c. broccoli, cut 1/2 x 1/2-inch
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1 medium carrot, in 1/8-inch slices
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 celery stalk, in 1/4-inch slices
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. prepared rice
- 1 tsp. hot sauce (if spicy flavor is desired with soy sauce)
- In 8-inch skillet with lid, place vegetable oil and meat. Cook on medium heat until brown (do not overcook).
- When meat is ready, turn heat to high and add vegetables and garlic.
- Stir to mix, then cover and let steam.
- Check and stir occasionally.
