Beef Stroganoff
- 1 packet of onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups of beef broth
- 1 cup baby bella mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced
- beef trimmed and sliced into 2 inch by 1 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup of flour
- salt and pepper for seasoning
- a few tablespoons of olive oil
- 6 oz. of sour cream and 1/2 bag of egg noodles.
- 1.) Mix the flour with some salt and pepper (season to liking, I like heavy pepper).
- 2.) Cover steak pieces in the flour mixture.
- 3.)Add oil to pan with sliced onions.
- 4.) Turn heat on medium.
- 5.) Once pan is heated up add the beef and mushrooms and cook beef until golden browned on all sides.
- 6.) Add the onion soup mix and stir together.
- 7.) Add 1 can of cream of mushroom, and stir until mixed with oil, onions, mushrooms, and beef.
- 8.) Do the same with the beef broth.
- 9.) Once beef mixture is all creamed together with a nice sauce, start cooking pasta. That way sauce can thicken and simmer for a little while on a low heat. Keep stirring mixture every once in a while so that it doesn't burn.
- 10.) Right before you finish with the meal and take off burner, add the sour cream. Mix well. Then take off heat.
- 11.) Finish by adding some pepper to season and enjoy your meal. It's super delicious and tastes like you've been cooking it all day!
