Ground Lamb On Hummus

  1. -Heat o'oil in pan and fry onions until they are golden, ~20 min, set aside with the oil
  2. -Make or get the hummus on a plate
  3. For some reason this recipe wants you to let the onions cool and kind of start over with them. I wonder if it would be ok to just add the ground lamb? Maybe toast pine nuts during this time.
  4. -Reheat onions, add ground lamb/onions, add 1 t of cinnamon, when almost done, add salt and pepper. Saute until the ground lamb is a bit crispy, take off fire, add paprika.
  5. -Pour onion/lamb mix over hummus, sprinkle generously with parsley, add pine nuts.
  6. -Serve w/ toasted pita and lemon wedges
