Mabel Hall'S Fudge
- 4 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 12 oz. package Nestle's chocolate chips
- 2 4 oz. packages German's sweet chocolate, broken into pieces
- 1 pt. marshmallow cream
- 2 c. nuts, coarsely chopped
- Prepare a 13 x 9 pan by greasing the bottom. (If you want more pieces of fudge, you can use a 9 X 9 pan in addition and just divide the fudge between the two).
- Mix sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and salt into a pot on medium-high heat. Stir well. Bring to a boil and boil together for 6 minutes.
- Remove from the heat. Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips until melted. Then stir in the German's chocolate until melted. Stir in the marshmallow cream until melted. Finally, stir in the nuts.
- Pour into the pan(s). Let stand at least 4 hours before cutting.
