Simple Taco Salad
- Dressing:
- 1 2 lb. container of plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 1/2 - 1 tsp. of cumin
- a dash of garlic powder
- 1/2 of a limes juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- Taco meat:
- 2-3 lbs. ground beef or ground turkey
- 2-3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1/8 cup water
- 1/2 tablespoon dried onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 16 oz. can of drained and rinsed kidney beans
- Cut up two to three heads of romaine lettuce
- Start your taco meat in a skillet getting it browned up. While that is cooking you can make your sauce. Add all of the ingredients together and stir well. Refrigerate while doing the rest of the meal. Now that the meat is browned you need to drain the grease/oil from the meat. Next you need to add all the ingredients into the meat and stir well. Put that on low to keep warm. Chop up some lettice. Serve with chips, cheese, avacado, and salsa on the salad. Now you have a super easy and delicious meal!
