Chicken Fettucine Alfredo

  1. Saute garlic in margarine, then stir in flour.
  2. Gradually add milk, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
  3. Cook mixture 8 minutes or until thick.
  4. Stir in cream cheese and cook 2 more minutes.
  5. Add 1 cup parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  6. Cook fettucini according to package directions; add chicken.
  7. Pour the hot cheese sauce over the hot fettucini and chicken.
  8. Toss well to coat.
  9. Top mixture with the remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese and sprinkle on some black pepper.
