Seafood Casserole
- 1# raw peeled shrimp
- 1 lg. onion, diced
- 2 sticks celery, sliced thin
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2 T. butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1 can cr. of mushroom soup
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 T. garlic salt
- 1 t. Tabasco
- 1/2-1 t. red pepper
- 1 pt. crab meat
- 1 c. cooked rice
- In large skillet, saute in 2 T butter: shrimp, onion, celery, and green pepper. In small saucepan, melt together: cream cheese and 1 stick butter, and add to skillet.
- Add to above: mushroom soup, mushrooms, garlic salt, Tabasco, red pepper, crab meat, cooked rice. Put in 12 X 15 baking dish. Cover with grated cheddar and cracker crumbs. Bake 350 for 30 minutes. Freezes well.
