Herbal Thai Seasoning Mix And Thai Roll-Up
- Spices:
- Dried Mint- 4 TBsp
- Dried Lemon Zest- 2 TBsp
- Ground White Pepper- 4 Tsp
- Ground Black Pepper- 2 Tsp
- Dried Lemongrass- 2 Tsp
- Ground Cumin- 1/4 Tsp
- Cayenne Powder- 1/2 Tsp
- Thai Roll-Up:
- Ground Chicken or Crumbled (marinated in soy) Tofu- 1/2 lb
- Garlic- 3 Cloves minced
- Chicken Broth or Veggie Broth- 4-6 TBsp
- Green Onion- 2 TBsp finely chopped
- Fresh Cilantro- 1 TBsp finely chopped
- Herbal Thai Seasoning Mix- 1 TBsp
- Lime Juice- 1 TBsp
- Nam Pla (fish sauce) or 2 parts Soy Sauce/1 part Lime or Hoisin- 1 TBsp
- Lettuce Leaves, washed and dried- 12
- Optional:
- Shredded carrots
- Shredded cabbage
- Spice Blend- Combine all and grind finely.
- Thai Roll-Up-
- Heat 2 Tbsp broth to a boil in saute pan.
- Add chicken (or other) and garlic, stir fry.
- Keep adding broth as needed till chicken is cooked.
- Remove from heat and mix in onions, herbs, lime and fish sauce (or other).
- Mix well, spoon onto lettuce leaves, wrap up sides, then roll up, and eat with fingers.
